How to set-up your Commerzbank access Step 1 – Running the signature stick

First of all, insert the signature stick into the USB port on your computer. If you have activated the autorun function in Windows, the web browser installed on the signature stick will open automatically.

Please select your country and the appropriate language. You will then be taken to the login screen in the Corporate Banking Portal.

Step 2 – Logging into the Corporate Banking Portal

If the autorun function is disabled, please switch to the file manager and select the drive “Signature_Stick”, then click on the file “autorun.exe”. The signature stick is displayed as a write-protected CD-ROM drive in Finder on Apple Macintosh computers. Click on the drive “Signature_Stick”, then double-click on the yellow Commerzbank logo (“Start_GlobalPaymentPlus”).

First, enter your 10-digit user number and your 5-digit PIN code into the window that opens (see page 1, “User number + PIN code”) in the Corporate Banking Portal and click on „Log in“.

The signature stick will now start checking for software updates. If you are prompted to, complete the update and follow the onscreen instructions. This might take several minutes. Once the web browser installed on the signature stick has been launched, the Commerzbank Corporate Banking Portal map will open automatically.

The next step is to select “Payments: Global Payment Plus” from the “Your applications” menu in the main navigation. The application will then be opened in the portal.

Step 3 – Initialising bank access

June 2015 | page 3

Global Payment Plus will now send your electronic user keys to the bank’s computer, which you also need to confirm with your signature.

Click on “Print initialisation letter”. To do this, you need a program that can open PDF files, such as Adobe Reader. When you are using Global Payment Plus for the first time, you will automatically be taken to a screen to set up your access to Commerzbank. Your EBICS customer and user ID will already be displayed. Please check these codes against your bank parameters letter (see page 1, “Bank parameters letter”).

Print the initialisation letter, sign it where marked and send it to us, preferably by fax to +49 69 405652785. Please provide us with your email address or fax number to receive a notification as soon as your bank access has been authorised.

The description for this bank access can be amended if necessary. You can now change the transport PIN for your signature card. To do this, click on the button to open the PIN change wizard.

Finally, confirm that you have successfully printed the initialisation letter.

The transport PIN for the signature card is the same as the last five digits of your card number. It is also printed next to the chip.

The new signature PIN code must comprise between 6 and 12 numbers. Re-enter your new PIN and click on “Change” to complete the process. Then click on “Next” to continue setting up your bank access.

Step 4 – Accessing the bank parameters

If we have your contact details you will be informed as sson as your bank access is authorised. Afterwards click on “Access bank parameters”.

Read on to find out about the advanced functions of Global Payment Plus and enter company details or grant specific users display rights for account information. For more information about using Global Payment Plus, go to the “Help” section or use the “Guided tour” feature, both of which can be accessed via buttons in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

Step 6 – Entering company details When you have set up your bank access, we recommend you add company details to the relevant customer ID and link them to an account. If the account is then used for a payment order, this company information will automatically be entered as the originator details. Any user linked to a customer account can update company details. The page will keep updating automatically until the bank parameters can be retrieved. While you wait for this to happen, you can select “Resume at a later date” and log out until we inform you that authorisation has been granted.

To enter company information, go to the bank access details screen and click on the “Customer details” tab.

Step 5 – Completing your bank access Once we have checked your signature on the initialisation letter and authorised your access on the bank’s computer, Global Payment Plus will be able to retrieve the bank parameters and keys. If you have logged out of the Corporate Banking Portal in the meantime, the set-up process will be resumed automatically when using Global Payment Plus again. Successful retrieval of the bank parameters completes the process of setting up your access to Commerzbank. You can now actively use this bank access via Global Payment Plus.

If customer data has been set up on the bank server, Global Payment Plus has automatically created company details out of this data that can be expanded as needed. Please note that customer data administered by your bank cannot be changed or deleted. You can set up multiple companies under one customer. An account can only be linked to one single company, however.

Step 7 – Managing display permissions The function “Display permissions” allows you to grant permissions to users linked to a customer account to view details of historical orders and information from account statements. You can also edit individual account names here. Please note for your Commerzbank access: Display permissions can only be managed by users identified as customer administrators in GPP. Administrators must be authorised for EBICS XAD orders. If you are not an administrator, a corresponding message will appear. To administer display permissions, go to the bank access details screen and click on the “Manage display permissions” tab.

Administration functions within the Corporate Banking Portal Change PIN

Under the heading “Administration” in the top navigation bar of the Corporate Banking Portal, you can find a number of basic functions for managing your access. In the menu of Login Credentials (PIN) you can choose one of the following options: l

Create/change login name

l

Change PIN

l

Block Access

Login name

You can change your 5-digit login PIN for the Corporate Banking Portal to a different 5-digit character combination any time you like. You can use the numbers 0 to 9 and the letters A to Z, but you cannot use characters such as @, % or the underscore sign, etc. For security reasons, we recommend that you change the PIN on a regular basis.

Block access

Instead of your 10-digit user number, you can also login using an alias of your choice in the Corporate Banking Portal. To create an alias, select the item “Login credentials (PIN)” and then click on “Create/change login name”. The alias must be between 8 and 50 digits long. You can use the numbers 0 to 9, the letters A to Z and the special symbols @, underscore, hyphen and full stop as characters. You cannot use blank spaces. No distinction is made between upper and lower case characters.

If you think your PIN has been acquired by a third party, you can restrict access to the Corporate Banking Portal at any time. To do this, simply choose the entry “Block access” in the “Login credentials” menu and then click on the relevant button. After restricting access, it is no longer possible to login using your existing PIN. In such cases, contact the Hotline by calling: +49 69 136 80527 to order a new PIN.
