INVIEW Total Meter Reporting (TMR) provides our customer a consolidated "Postal Summary Dashboard" of mailing operations. Data can be from a single postage meter or consolidated from multiple meter sites. The expense data may include pieces and postage over time, or costcenter management for individual Accounts. The INVIEW TMR solution combines the power of the individual mailing systems that print postage and collect data, along with an infrastructure required to transfer and format the data for visibility on MyAccount at PB.com. INVIEW TMR provides a great value outside of the mail center, giving managers with financial responsibility a broader view into their operations.

The four key value propositions for INVIEW TMR are: 

Monitor business performance and analyze postage & Metering operations information

Ensures accountability for postage spent across the enterprise

Provides big picture or detailed analysis instantly

Access meter data and accounting data from PB data warehouse for up to 25 months

INVIEW TMR (Total Meter Reporting) is one of two solutions under the INVIEW MMS brand – our mail management suite of solutions for postage expense management and remote access to consolidated information. The second solution is INVIEW Total Postage Management, or TPM. INVIEW TPM is covered briefly at the end of this document.

INVIEW TMR can be configured to work with multiple locations within one company. To help configure a multi location, a SITE SURVEY must be completed. Site Surveys are located on the Dealer Extranet under INVIEW TMR. Please contact INVIEW Support for assistance at [email protected]. Note also that the INVIEW Support Team is able to provide the proper PCN’s to use when ordering INVIEW TMR; however, pricing must be configured by the dealer.

Customers can view a demo of INVIEW TMR from the Home Page of PB.com, and gain a high level value proposition. Propose INVIEW Total Meter Reporting (TMR) as an added value offer for any new or existing meter site. For a single location, the customer can see what’s happening in their operation, and analyze the Class and spend information over time. For multisite enterprises, INVIEW TMR can consolidate postage spend information from each site, giving visibility into consolidated spend and account activity.

This is the broad name for our web-based solution where a customer can access postage meter data remotely from MyAccount at PB.com. INVIEW TMR is available in three flavors for both DM Series and the Connect+ Series:

INVIEW TMR without Web Accounting (NV20) This is a basic level of service provided by INVIEW TMR. Using this service, the postage meter (single or enterprise locations) can transfer basic information on postage expenses. The data can then be reviewed and analyzed from MyAccount at PB.com. INVIEW TMR without Web Accounting is available for all Pitney Bowes postage meters: o o o o

MailStation (K700) DM Series (DM100-DM1100) DM Infinity meters Connect+ Series

This service is not available for PB Smart Postage, Kiosk, or other PB Internet-based solutions.

INVIEW TMR with Web Accounting (NV21) Using this service, the postage meter (single or enterprise locations) can:  

Transfer basic information on postage expenses Transfer departmental accounting detail

The data can then be reviewed, analyzed and reported from MyAccount at PB.com.

With INVIEW TMR, the creation and editing of Account codes is always done on the postage meter. Reports from INVIEW TMR only show the Account Name or Account Code as created on the meter. INVIEW TMR does not pass data or account information back to the meter.

NV21 INVIEW TMR with Web Accounting is available for the following Pitney Bowes postage meters:  

DM Series (DM125, DM225 and DM300 through DM1100 Connect+ Series

This service is not available for MailStation, DM100, DM200, DM Infinity, PB Smart Postage, Postal Kiosk, or other Pitney Bowes Internet-based solutions.

INVIEW TMR with Web Accounting is NOT a standard feature of the DM Series. In order to take advantage of the optional INVIEW TMR with Web Accounting, each of the customer's mail machines is required to have one of the following enhanced accounting solutions installed and activated:   

INVIEW Accounting Budget Manager Business Manager

For custom reporting with NV10, you must add NV2A. INVIEW TMR with Web Accounting required the appropriate INVIEW TMR Monthly subscription to be added to the order.

INVIEW TMR Bundle with Web Accounting (NV10) The NV10 INVIEW TMR Bundle with Web Accounting is used for single Connect+ and DM Series units only (excludes the DM125) and bundles INVIEW TMR with Web Accounting with the INVIEW TMR Subscription, training & professional services. Since NV10 includes the subscription, there is no need to add subscription separately. For custom reporting with NV10, you must add NV2A. NV10 cannot be used for multiple DM Series or Connect+ units assigned to one customer. You must use the appropriate NV20, or NV21 option and corresponding INVIEW TMR subscription based on total number of units that will access INVIEW TMR.

Custom Reports (NV2A) This service enhances the value of INVIEW TMR with Web Accounting with the added benefit of customizable reports. Custom Reports allows for selecting the desired report format (summary or detailed), as well as selecting the desired fields of information to appear on that report. Report templates can then be saved, and retrieved at any time with current data always being fed to the report. Again, even with Custom Reports, the customer will only be able to see the Account Name and Account Code as it was entered on the postage metering system. The INVIEW TMR solution does not allow transaction editing, account deletions or manipulation of the data once it is uploaded from the meter. . Custom Reports can be added to either the NV10 or NV21 options.

INVIEW Accounting (onboard accounting) INVIEW Accounting is the brand name for an onboard accounting function on the postage meter. (Not to be confused with having INVIEW TMR web-based solution.) When you see “INVIEW Accounting” as an option in the configurator, it is a departmental accounting function on the meter. Having INVIEW Accounting on a postage meter does not, by itself, enable viewing data and printing reports from the web. However, INVIEW Accounting is the minimum pre-requisite to having INVIEW TMR with Web Accounting or INVIEW TMR with Web Accounting and Custom Reports.
