New Outlook Web Access - Webmail The new version of Outlook Web Access – Webmail lets you take advantage of an improved e-mail service, a clearer and more stylish interface and layout and powerful tools similar to those found in Microsoft Outlook 2010. Main characteristics of the new Outlook web version:  Clear and clean interface, similar to that in Microsoft Outlook 2010  Messages organised by conversations  25 Gb of storage space  Individual e-mails occupying up to 25 Mb  Integrated with Lync  E-mail delivery tracking  Complete control over your mobile devices  Junk mail management

New Outlook Web Access - Webmail 1. Quick access through the Home or Outlook buttons. 2. Microsoft Outlook Web Access sign out and Lync status buttons. From here you can choose to only log out of Lync via the IM sign-off option. 3. ESADE corporate address book and personal contacts from Outlook. Customisable options include background themes and general options (“See all options”). 4. Inbox and personal folders, as well as your Lync contacts. 5. Menu to access your e-mail, calendar, contacts and tasks. 6. New mail or meeting request buttons, eliminate mail, move selected messages to a folder, personalised e-mail filter, view messages by conversations or in a list, activate or deactivate the reading panel, and send and receive mail. 7. Search your entire mailbox. Define criteria to order your e-mails. 8. Main e-mail message view. 9. Reading panel for individual messages. 10. Shortcut buttons (Respond, Respond all and Forward), categories and more actions. Outlook Web Access options: To access all the Outlook Web Access options, click on Options in the top right and then on See all options.

New Outlook Web Access - Webmail 1. Account: includes an account summary, where to find your user data and the amount of space used in your account. 2. Organise e-mail: this option details the rules governing your inbox, automatic replies (the out of office wizard), delivery reports and retention guidelines as well as if you want to specify how long items are kept in your inbox. 3. Groups: this option allows you to edit mailing lists and your personal or organisation’s groups. 4. Settings: here you can edit your e-mail signature and change the spellchecker language, amongst other options. 5. Phone: this option allows you to control the mobile devices connected to your ESADE account and reset your device’s original settings in case of theft or loss. 6. Block or allow: this option allows you to manage unwanted junk mail (or “spam”). The option to change your password is not available here. How can I group messages together by conversations? In Mail, click on View and then on Use conversations. How do I activate or deactivate the reading panel? In Mail, click on View and then on Reading panel. You can choose if you want to see it on the right or left side of the interface or deactivate it.

New Outlook Web Access - Webmail How can I change the interface’s language? In the Settings menu, go to the Regional option to change the language used as well as select the regional calendar setup and time options.

How can I edit the default signature? In the Settings menu, click on Mail. The new screen includes a simple text editor in which you can introduce your new e-mail signature. Outlook Web Access does not allow you to include images in these signatures.

New Outlook Web Access - Webmail How can I track e-mail deliveries? In the Organize e-mail menu, click on the Delivery reports option. You’ll see the filter to locate the e-mail messages you’re interested in. You can create a filter according to the messages you’ve sent or received to or from a specific person (1), filter by the words in the “Subject” field (1), or click on the refresh symbol (2) to look for all the e-mails sent.

Click twice on the e-mail message in question to see the delivery information.

New Outlook Web Access - Webmail How do I erase my mobile device data in case of loss or theft? In the Phone menu, click on the Mobile phones option. You’ll see a list of the devices configured for your account. Select the lost or stolen device and click on Details for more information about its setup and use. Click on Wipe device to restore it to its original factory settings.

The Wipe device option does not display any message on the device in question and eliminates ALL the device’s data permanently so long as the device is turned on and has data access. You should only use this option if you are completely sure you will not be able to recover your device.
