2.1 FIS Cross-Country World Cup Sponsors

FIS Marketing AG together with FIS successfully introduced a new marketing concept in the season 2010/11. With Viessmann, BMW, Crystall Lefortovo, Helvetia and Craft as main sponsors we are privileged to have five strong partners for all of the FIS CC World Cup events. Polar is the official timing sponsor of the FIS CC World Cup. Branch Exclusivity of FIS Sponsors All FIS sponsors have branch exclusivity within the following product categories:  Viessmann: Heating, air conditioning, cooling and ventilation technology  BMW: Manufacture and supplier of cars, motor bikes and bicycles and the entire financing part of such products  Helvetia: Insurance (especially insurance companies, insurance agents and insurance brokers and insurance - or banking conglomerates, which offer insurance)  Crystall Lefortovo: Mineral Water and Vodka  Craft: Functional sports textiles  Polar: Timing and heart rate measurement The Local Organizing Committee (hereafter known as LOC) assures that no competitors are present with their branding in any commercial or public area of the event (inside and outside the TV-Range). FIS Cross-Country World Cup Sponsor Rights During the events the FIS CC World Cup sponsors are allowed to conduct sampling and promotion activities at no extra cost (in accordance with the LOC). The FIS CC World Cup sponsors shall be named over the loud-speaker several times before, in between and after the race. The details of these promotion activities must be coordinated between FIS Marketing AG and the LOC. Frequent Updates Frequent updates between the LOC and FIS Marketing AG are important. Keep FIS Marketing AG informed about local sponsor activities, open advertisement space that could be acquired, arising issues etc. FIS Marketing AG will contact the LOC if FIS sponsors are planning on doing sponsorship activation on-site.

Official Poster To provide a consistent appearance for the FIS Cross-Country World Cup in the promotional efforts world-wide, the organizing committees are required to use the official poster design which is depicted on the next page. However, to cater for local needs, the design can be adjusted. Official Poster for FIS Tour de Ski Organizers Special design guidelines for poster apply to the organizers of the FIS Tour de Ski. The official Tour de Ski sponsor logo must also be included on the poster, along with the URL www.fiscrosscountry.com

Accreditation Card The accreditation card is a personalized card which confers on its holder the right to take part in a World Cup Event. It establishes the identity of the card holder and specifies the access rights and other privileges of the card holder for a particular World Cup Event. Since the season 2010/2011 a FIS season accreditation card has been developed and will be issued to a select group of individuals. This card will be valid at all World Cup Events. All other individuals will need to apply for a local accreditation. To ensure branding consistency across the FIS season accreditation card and the local accreditation card, each LOC will be provided with a template that is to be used to produce the local accreditation card. The design is similar to the FIS season accreditation card but with slight modifications to allow for the needs of the LOC. Specifications of the Accreditation Card The dimensions of the accreditation card should be approximately: 12.5 x 9 cm. The card can be printed on cardboard/paper and laminated or produced directly as a plastic card. The principal elements to be visible on the card are: • The official 2013/14 FIS CC World Cup logo • The official event logo • The name of the event host and the date of the event • A recent color photograph of the card holder • Personal information about the card holder (Name, Function, Responsible Organization) • Numerical codes (1 -16) determining the zones to which the card holder is entitled to access. If the LOC has additional access areas they can be added in this section • Sponsor recognition through logos at bottom of the card (front and back) • Disclaimer (if necessary)

Process for Design and Approval of Accreditation cards Each LOC has to use the template provided by FIS Marketing AG as the basis for the design of the local accreditation card. Where it is not possible to use the exact template provided by FIS Marketing AG, the LOC can develop their own layout but must work within the FIS Marketing AG guidelines. The photo on the card is optional. Each LOC must present their accreditation card design to FIS Marketing AG for approval before the card is produced.
